One fully marked skin and one generic, unmarked skin for the Kittyhawk IV (P-40N) to be used on the P-40N mod aircraft.

Place these skins in: \IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\PaintSchemes\Skins\P-40N

Template and skins by me, HBPencil. I used the stock P-40M void as a base from which to build the template and as such
some elements of the mech/internals are retained from that void as my own attempts to improve on them had negligible results.
Please note that, due to issues with the skin mapping, there is some distortion of the fuselage roundels and codes. Also, for the
same reason, the radio mast is coloured the same blue as the national roundels. I have tried to compensate for these issues however
there is only so much that can be done.

IMPORTANT
You may use these skins freely (provided its for non-profit and/or non-commercial use) and so long as you give credit and leave the credits on the skins.
Likewise please do not use these skins in part or in whole to create other skins without giving due credit. Please do not upload these skins to any website
without my permission unless they are bundled with a mission/campaign in which they are used.

If you any questions regarding these skins, or the use of, please dont hesitate to message me at Axis-&-Allies or email me at hbpencil79@hotmail.com

SKIN INFORMATION

Kittyhawk IV (P-40N-5), FT943, OK-R, 450 Squadron RAAF, Italy, June 1944.
Although 450sqn was an Australian unit there were a number of New Zealanders who flew with this squadron. Although FT943 (US serial 42-104906)
was flown by Australians as often as not it seems that one of Kiwis saw fit to make his mark on this aircraft, in the form of a yellow disc over which
a tiki and the phrase "Kia - Ora" was superimposed, which is Maori (the indigenous people and language of New Zealand) meaning "be well/healthy"
and used as an informal greeting.
I chose to skin this aircraft as you don'tget much more ANZAC than Aussies and Kiwis serving in the same unit!

Happy flying!
